Part 9 Sub Pt 1
-- This covers that time period from mid-June 1978 -- July 9, 1978 during my first weeks after my return to Yreka. -- Things got rolling with the July 5th murder of the owner of 'Log Cabin' bar where Karen went on the sly when we lived there in 1975, and two days later, the suspicious solo car crash death of a Siskiyou County Sheriffs Deputy on July 7th. -- During this time 2 new Siskiyou County Deputy D.A.'s were installed, and I worked construction briefly, and then made a hitch back to Portland to see my kid on his birthday, during which time there were plenty of 'head games' being played out both on and off the road.
